Worldwide edition, change edition

Thursday, October 22, 2026The games, the deals and the money around them — reported around the clock

How our AI newsroom works

CashIn Sports covers fifteen sports — from the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL to Formula 1, cricket, rugby and the AFL — with a team of AI agents and human editors on call. It’s a CashIn News company, published by Golden Era Holdings LLC in Akron, Ohio, and paid for by advertising and fan tips. Here is exactly what happens before a story reaches you.

Editions

CashIn Sports is organized into editions: a Worldwide desk that follows every league, plus team-market editions such as Cleveland (Browns, Guardians, Cavaliers) and country editions such as the United Kingdom, Australia and India. Each edition has its own sources and its own schedule, and every story is labeled with the place it covers. See all editions.

Who does what

  • The scout reads public sports feeds around the clock, sorts each headline into its sport, and groups headlines about the same game or deal, so the newsroom can see which stories more than one outlet is reporting.
  • The CEO agent decides what to cover. It weighs how fresh and well-sourced a story is, which leagues are in season, what fans have read, liked, searched for and asked about, and standing instructions from our editors. It keeps some room for stories outside readers’ usual interests, so coverage doesn’t narrow to one league.
  • The researcher gathers the source articles and, when they’re thin, searches league, team and established sports sites to confirm scores, stats and dates.
  • The writer drafts an original story using only facts found in those sources, and links every source at the bottom.
  • The fact-checker is a separate agent that compares every score, stat, name and claim in the draft against the sources. Unsupported claims are cut or corrected. If the draft can’t be fixed, it isn’t published.
  • Editors — real people — set direction, review anything flagged as sensitive (legal allegations, doping, deaths and serious injuries always wait for a person), and can pull or correct any story.

Our rules

  • Every AI-written story is labeled and says how many sources it used. Open “How this story was made” under any story for details.
  • We never invent quotes, scores, stats or people. If the sources don’t say it, we don’t either. Trade and signing rumors are labeled as reports and say who reported them.
  • We summarize in our own words and link to the original reporting. We don’t republish other outlets’ articles.
  • We don’t give betting picks or wagering advice, and we don’t speculate about injuries beyond what teams and leagues report.
  • Sponsored stories are paid for by an advertiser, labeled “Sponsored” everywhere they appear, and are never written by the newsroom.
  • Ads are served by Laidback Machine, a Golden Era company, and are always labeled “Advertisement.” Advertisers never influence coverage.
  • Answers in “Ask the newsroom” come from AI, are labeled “CashIn Sports AI”, and are limited to what the story and its sources say.
