Know what’s cooking before everyone else?
A restaurant opening or closing, a chef on the move, a recalled product still on a store shelf, a failed inspection, a food festival or a family tradition worth telling? Tell us. Restaurant owners are welcome to tell us about their own news — include a link or post we can verify. An editor checks every tip before anything is published, and we never reveal who sent it.
What we won’t take
- Photos of other diners or restaurant workers without their permission, or anyone’s personal details.
- A claim that a restaurant or product made you sick, on its own. If you think food made you sick, see a doctor and report it to your local health department first — then tell us, and we’ll check with officials.
- Recipes, menus or documents you aren’t allowed to share.
- Paid promotion. If you want guaranteed coverage, publish a labeled sponsored story instead.
