Liev Schreiber has heated exchange with reporter at 'Nocturne' premiere

Liev Schreiber had a heated moment with a red carpet reporter at the premiere of his new show, Nocturne.

The actor had a heated exchange with a reporter at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ crime drama on Tuesday night in New York City, per TMZ. Page Six, AOL and the Daily Mail all covered the clash on Wednesday.

What was said

Per TMZ, Schreiber seemed unhappy that the reporter appeared to be chasing social media engagement. He told her to treat people as though she values what she does, according to the outlet.

Page Six's headline has him saying: "It's not a f–king soundbite." TMZ adds that he said it shouldn't be one when it's being done "in-house." The Daily Mail's headline calls her an Apple reporter and notes the company airs his show, and Parade says the report appeared to be from Apple TV+.

Cooler heads

TMZ says the reporter handled it well. She kept smiling, tried to joke her way through, and landed on a topic Schreiber seemed happy with. The outlet says things ended amicably and everyone walked away happy.
